gloucester summer regatta 2016

Cardiff City Rowing Club recently attended Gloucester Summer Regatta and excelled in most events they participated in. Having taken the short trip down the M4 to Gloucester we rigged our boats and began racing nice and early. With 9 boats competing across both divisions, we had plenty of opportunities to excel in our chosen sport. Cardiff City performed well throughout the day with various finals being contested by club members. A big congratulations to the number of members that lost their novice sculling status including Beth, Matt, Robin and Shanty. Well done to those who won but also those that competed. The results were as follows....

  • Winner W.Nov1x - Shanty Ropaigéalach-Neale
  • Winner Nov1x - Robin Kingston Evans
  • W.Nov 2x - Beth Fleetwood and Shanty Ropaigéalach-Neale
  • Winner IM3.2x - David George and Matt Gregg
